Elektrolytes LMFAO Challenge
If you haven't been keeping up with MTV's America's Best Dance Crew there is a crew from Arizona that has more than exceeded expectations. The Elektrolytes out of Gilbert, AZ have continued to transform and mature throughout the competition. They are crisp, athletic, creative, and after the votes have been tabulated may be one of the final 2 in the dance competition. Their LMFAO Challenge on this week's episode is on of the strongest performances of the competition and THE strongest performance of the week. The Elektrolytes have influenced many of AZ's dance crews over the years, challenging them to grow in order to keep up with the elite dance crew. Now the influence is bound to spread worldwide helping put AZ on the map in the dance community. You can show your support for AZ's finest by tuning in to ABDC on MTV Wednesdays 10/9c or watch online on the ABDC Website.

RedMonkey Update

Red Monkey Monarch Theatre Phoenix, AZThe photos from RedMonkey have been added to the AZXclusive Photo Gallery. This event included some of the most iconic DJ's in the House community including Pete Supermixxx Salaz creator of RedMonkey and a live freestyle by M3. This was the first time I've heard M3 spit on stage and it was fire as usual. This event was packed and Monarch Theatre, boasting the best sound system in AZ, lived up to the hype. The sound did this event justice, and you could feel the baseline pulse through your body all night.

If you are not familiar with RedMonkey it is an event that ran between 1996 and 2001. It mysteriously disappeared after being hailed as one of the best House nights for years. In 2005, RedMonkey made a triumphant return, and every time it opened its doors dance music history was created. Originally held at the infamous underground club Chupa!, RedMonkey launched as a sporadically thrown party held at Riverbottom Lounge featuring local house music heroes as well as world renowned DJs. Conjured up by local house music souldier, Pete Salaz, RedMonkey is a place where everyone feels comfortable regardless of race, color, or creed, all held together by house music. On Memorial Day Weekend May 25th 2012 RedMonkey again made House History.
